Chattanooga, Tennessee
As an old retired veteran, I enjoy spending my time
helping veterans of all ages and from all branches of service.
I retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority, where I was in instrumentation for 24 years.
I am active in the American Legion (Post 14), United Submari Veterans (USS Carbonero Base), Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4848), and Disabled American Veterans.
The Hamilton County Veteran Treatment Court is mentoring justice-involved veterans, which is the most critical vocation I've undertaken
I am the Commander of the USS Carbonero Base of the United States Submarine Veterans, a national organization of submariners.
We have a great group of submarine veterans who served on diesel and nuclear submarines.
We meet at Post 14's home on the second Monday of each month. We meet at 1830 hours.
Post 14 of Chattanooga, TN, was chartered in October 1920. Following World War II, the post had 5,000 members.
We meet at 1200 Mountain Creek Road, Suite 320, Chattanooga. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 1830 hours.
Our goal is to serve our veterans, community, and youth of our area.
Due to the efforts of Judges Boyd Patterson and Gary Starnes, our Veteran Treatment Court is now accepting veterans who need assistance in our judicial system.
We need Mentors who are integral to the court's success. If you are interested in serving as a Mentor, please contact me.
The veteran participants are progressing through the required phases of the program. We are proud of their efforts.
